The Collaborative for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CEI) is Worcester Polytechnic Institute's entrepreneurship center. The CEI nurtures innovative, entrepreneurial activity on its campus and in the greater business community by providing education and expertise that helps current and aspiring entrepreneurs build better technological businesses, organizations, and create licensing opportunities based upon intellectual property.
The creation of new enterprises and licensing opportunities based upon technological invention and innovation is enhanced by participating in our more than two-dozen programs, competitions, and affiliations. To accelerate the learning process, we connect technology entrepreneurs to experts and resources needed to succeed.
Our award-winning programs were recognized in 2005 by Entrepreneur Magazine’s TechknowledgePoint survey of entrepreneurial schools by ranking us among the Top Ten programs in the nation for schools with an Entrepreneurship Emphasis.
We welcome you to discuss, in strict confidence, your ideas for new technology-based businesses or licensing opportunities. We will suggest mentors, programs, and resources to help build your network or provide individual services based upon your unique needs.
