Automatically Add a bookmark to Favorites in Internet Explorer

Bookmark myWPI in Firefox 2.0

From the Bookmarks menu, go to Organize Bookmarks. The Bookmarks Manager window opens.
Select File, New, Bookmark or click on the New Bookmark button.
Type in myWPI for the Name and http://my.wpi.edu for the Location.
Click the OK button. The bookmark is added

Bookmark myWPI in Other Browsers

If you are using a different browser, be sure to bookmark the URL http://my.wpi.edu and nothing else. Consult your browser help for bookmarking instructions.

Caution!

Do not cut and paste the URL from the myWPI login page for a bookmark, or bookmark it directly! If you have a bookmark with a different address than http://my.wpi.edu, your first login attempt to myWPI will fail when using that bookmark, and you will have to log in twice. If you have already created a bookmark this way, remove it and use the instructions above to create a new one.
