Saving to the PDF/A Format

Note:

A PDF/A file is a basic PDF file with a few minor differences. A PDF/A file is well-suited for long-term archiving, as it internally embeds fonts and forbids active scripts and videos from running.

Creating a PDF/A Using Adobe Acrobat X

Click on File - Save As... - More Options - PDF/A.
Use the save dialog to save your PDF/A. Note that it may take a few seconds to save the file.
