myWPI Account Information
As of January 2007, the myWPI server uses the Windows Account (ADMIN/STUDENT) password for logging in. To access myWPI, faculty, staff and students must have a WPI Windows account and be able to read their WPI e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). E-mail sent from myWPI includes course and organization e-mail messages from professors and peers. If you are a member of the myWPI community please use your WPI Windows password to login to myWPI.
Faculty and Staff Accounts
Requests for Faculty and Staff WPI computer accounts are initiated through the office of Human Resources. More information on Faculty and Staff accounts can be found here on the Faculty and Staff Account Maintenance page. Your myWPI account is automatically created within two hours of creating your WPI Computer Accounts and you can use your Windows password to login.
All students, including consortium students, who do not yet have a Windows Account should create their account by following the directions found here on the Account Maintenance page. Your myWPI account is automatically created within two hours of creating your WPI Computer Accounts and you can use your Windows password to login.
If you are a guest to the WPI community and were provided with a myWPI only account, you should continue to use your existing myWPI password. If at any point in the future you have a Windows account created, you will then have to use your Windows password from that point onward.
