From A Student's Perspective: Self and Peer Assessment

The new Self and Peer Assessment tools help students to become more engaged in their own learning by reflecting on the quality of their work. Students can submit assignments electronically during the submission period and then, using instructor establish criteria, assess their work during the Evaluation period. With the Peer Assessment tool, students can review their own work as well as the work of others in the class.

Students access the Self and Peer Assessment by selecting the content area in which the assessment was posted.

To complete an assessment, a student selects the View/Complete Assessment link during the Submission period.
