SharePoint: My Home
The My Home section of MySite includes the following items:
- A link to your profile
- Two Document Libraries: Personal and Shared: By default, items in the Shared Document Library are open to all members of the WPI community. Please see instructions for modifying permissions below.
- Picture Library: A Shared Picture library is present by default. By default, pictures in this library are shared with all members of the the WPI Community.
- Lists: Includes a Calendar by default. You can create custom lists here as well.
- Discussions:There are no discussion boards by default, but you can create one here.
- Surveys: There are no surveys by default, but you can create one here.
- Sites: You can use this space to create sub-sites off of your MySite.

To request a SharePoint Site, please fill out this form.
Alternatively, you can email helpdesk@wpi.edu with the following information:- Name of Your Project or Organization
- Short Name (suitable for URL): 6-8 characters
- Description of Project/Group
- Usernames of all group members, separated by semicolons
- Anticipated End Date for site
