Concept Maps in Engineering Education
September 5, 2006
In the May 2000 issue of IEEE Transactions on Education, an investigation of the value of using concept maps in engineering education was reviewed with positive outcomes. There are many different kinds of concept maps which may be easily designed and used for both instruction and the demonstration of learning by students. Applications such as Microsoft Visio and Microsoft PowerPoint are simple tools instructors may use to design their own concept maps. For interactive maps designed to your specifications, please contact the Media Production group in the Academic Technology Center, ext. 5881 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
