Engage your Students in the Large Lecture Using the Classroom Performance System (CPS)

October 3, 2005

Professor Chrysanthe Demetry from Mechanical Engineering engages her students in her large lecture using the Classroom Performance System (CPS). Research shows that the technology is booming at campuses across the country. The ATC has a number of CPS kits available for faculty to use in their classes. Encourage your students to be active participants during your lecture with this innovative technology. You pose a question, your students respond using their clickers, and the results appear immediately on the screen. Spend more time where your students need it and less time on the material students demonstrate that they understand.
