Equipment Inventory

The Academic Technology Center (ATC) has a large inventory of equipment available for use by the WPI community (current faculty, staff and students). Equipment is available on a first-come, first serve basis..

Because of limited resources, the ATC strongly urges students, faculty, and staff to reserve equipment in advance to assure availability. Reservation requests can be submitted via e-mail to atc@wpi.edu. Submission of a request via email does not guarantee resources. A member of the ATC staff will respond to your request. To ensure inventory is readily available, the ATC limits use of its equipment to a maximum of two business days. Extended use for more than two business days is addressed on a case-by-case basis depending on equipment availability and purpose.

The inventory at the ATC is designated for academic and educational purposes only. The primary intent of the equipment inventory is for presentation usage. Basic homework, personal computing needs and recreational/entertainment purposes are not considered valid uses of the equipment inventory. Each request will be reviewed by the ATC and a decision will be made based upon merit and availability. Under certain circumstances, verification of course or project registration may be required to validate a request.
