Account Management for Faculty & Staff
Staff/Faculty
Staff and Faculty must complete a CCC Account Request form, have it signed by their Department Head, and submit it to Human Resources. Once the forms are processed by Human Resources and the accounts have been created by the CCC, you will be informed and you can pick them up at the Main Desk of the CCC Office.
Account Information
ADMIN Account
- ADMIN Account Lockouts
- If you know your current password and wish to change your password
you can use the Windows: ADMIN
Account Maintenance page.
- You can also change it by logging in to a WPI Windows system, pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del, and choosing "Change a Password..."
- If you want to reset an ADMIN Password, but do not know what it is, please contact the Helpdesk or come to the Helpdesk in person.
PIN Access

Requires a valid UNIX Login and Password.
If your UNIX password is unknown, faculty and staff can bring your WPI ID CARD to Human Resources during normal business hours to have your PIN reset or re-enabled.
UNIX Account
- Change password
Requires a valid ID and PIN or else Windows username and password.
myWPI
- myWPI uses your WPI username and your WINDOWS password. If you need your password reset please follow the directions above for resetting a WINDOWS account. If you do not have a Windows account please follow the directions at the top of the page to request one using the CCC Account Request form.
