Tethering or Mobile Hot Spot
This feature allows you to use your cell phone to utilize wireless internet services for your laptop.
Tethering
Tethering is available on blackberry for $10 per month for unlimited data (Verizon Wireless). Hotspot is available on Android and iPhone for $20 per month for 2 Gb (Verizon Wireless). Requests to add this feature to an existing WPI owned cell phone should be forwarded to Heidi Startz (heidi@wpi.edu) and should include: employee name, mobile number and manager approval.
