Connect to a Network Printer On a Mac

  1. Click on the Apple menu, then System Preferences.
  2. Double click on the Print and Fax icon.
  3. In the Print & Fax window, click the "+" symbol in the lower left of the window.
  4. Enter the following information:
    • Protocol: Internet Printing Protocol - IPP.
    • Address: cups1.wpi.edu.
    • Queue: /printers/*printer name*.
    • Location: The physical location of the printer.
    • Print Using: Generic PostScript Printer.
  5. Click Add.
  6. The printer is now added to your computer.
