This site provides information about available projects both on and off-campus, the required forms needed by the registrar, how to propose a project, how to write a project proposal, etc.. This should be your first stop when looking for information about projects at WPI.

MQP Report Information Packet (PDF: 25 pages, 81KB)
The Biomedical Engineering Department has created an MQP manual to help you with writing an MQP for the department. The format of the written report, examples of the report cover and evaluation sheets used, and other information is included in this document. You should read this after finding a project, but before starting it.
Modified MQP Resource (PDF: 15 pages, 134KB)
This is a supplement to the BME department's MQP manual. It contains modified information from the ECE MQP web page on such topics as: how to write a project proposal, the format for the project's oral presentation, general information on laboratory resources, etc..
University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS)
The UMASS Medical Center provides outside project ideas in varying fields. You can work closely with physicians on projects that range from redesigning surgical tools to developing new monitoring equipment. From their main site, you can find directions to the school, a listing of the faculty, and any other information you may need. One resource provided on this site is the UMASS Medical School Directory of Research.
Tufts Veterinary School
Tufts Veterinary School, located in Grafton, MA, is an outside sponsor that provides MQP ideas that are animal related. From this site, you can find directions to the campus, a listing of the current faculty with their contact information and research interests, etc..
WPI Pre-Health Center
The Biology/Biotechnology department has created a Pre-Health center page. It provides additional information for students looking to go into the medical field when they graduate.
