Biomedical engineering is at the forefront of the medical revolution – and WPI has been a leader in the field since 1962. Biomedical engineers utilize engineering methodologies and impressive technology to study the wonder of living organisms in an advanced and quantitative way and develop new technologies to improve healthcare. This integration of engineering and biology offers new and exciting insight into our bodies and cells not previously possible. The Art at Gateway contest was a tremendous success with 20 entries submitted and over 60 votes cast. The top four winning entries (a two way tie for third place) will be unveiled at the Celebrating Art at Gateway reception at 3:00 on Thursday, May 21, in the lobby of Gateway.
