Graduate Programs
The Chemistry and Biochemistry Department offers Graduate Studies toward Masters and PH.D. degrees. We provide state-of-the-art infrastructure, equipment and resources to Faculty, Students, and Staff dedicated to perform scientific research at the highest level. To develop strengths in modern and exciting fields, in recent years the Department has added new Faculty with expertise in nanotechnology, molecular self-assembly and plant biochemistry.
Today, Faculty and Students share regular interactions as they work in collaborative projects in several broad areas:
- Plant Biochemistry and Biophysics
- Molecular Engineering and Synthesis
- Nanotechnology
The diverse learning environment that characterizes our Department promotes easy exchange of ideas, access to all the necessary resources and personalized training of future scientists. Frequent participation in National and International Meetings provides Students a broader scientific perspective, networking opportunities, and the possibility to plan their post-graduation professional path.
