Brass Ensemble

The WPI Brass Ensemble performs music written and arranged for large brass organizations -- including the great antiphonal music of the Gabrielis as well as contemporary compositions. The group performs frequently at WPI functions and at other colleges. Its concert tours include Belgium, England, Egypt, France and the former Soviet Union. A highlight of the concert season is its annual performance at St. Paul's Cathedral in Worcester. Smaller ensembles are encouraged and assistance is given in selecting music and organizing these ensembles. Rehearsals are held twice a week.
