Concert Band

The WPI Concert Band is the largest wind organization on campus and is open to all wind and percussion players. It presents at least three major concerts on campus each year and has participated at the annual intercollegiate band festival in Eastern Massachusetts. Concerts are frequently held in conjunction with other colleges such as Anna Maria, Tufts and Wellesley. The band performed in concert in Leningrad, Minsk, Moscow, and Pushkin while on tour in the former Soviet Union in 1990, and in Egypt in 1992. Rehearsals are held weekly.
