Minors
WPI offers a variety of Minors in which students complete at least two units of thematically-related activity including a capstone experience. (Two units usually consists of six courses.) The academic work for a minor should go beyond the regular degree requirements. For most students, this means that a minor in an area of the Humanities and Arts requires three courses beyond the courses normally taken for the Humanities and Arts Requirement.
Students taking courses in the humanities and arts might consider the following minors:
- Drama/Theatre Minor
- English Minor
- German Minor
- History Minor
- International Studies Minor
- Law and Technology Minor
- Music Minor
- Spanish Minor
- Writing and Rhetoric Minor
- Individually-Designed Minors
