Welcome to WPI's Center for Communication Across the Curriculum. Our goal is to develop and teach effective communication strategies through a variety of workshops and tutoring sessions across the WPI campus. Located on the second floor of the Project Center, the CCAC is directed by Lorraine Higgins, an associate professor of rhetoric at WPI. The Center is staffed by 20 student writing tutors who have received extensive training in writing and the tutoring of writing.
Need to borrow reference books on writing? The Center's library of writing references offers dictionaries, style manuals, and handbooks that students and faculty may borrow for up to two weeks at a time.
Looking for a few good tutors. Learn how to aid your peers during their writing process by signing up for a course in peer tutoring. Do you have what it takes?
