The best of the IQPs completed each year are entered into the President's IQP Awards Competition. They go through an initial screening process in which a committee of faculty selects six of the very best to compete in the final round of the competition. These projects are presented orally to an audience that includes a prestigious panel of judges drawn largely from outside of WPI and chaired by the president of WPI. That panel then selects the winners and honorable mentions based on the presentations and the project reports. Following are the executive summaries of the winners.
