The
Our
project is intended to improve the ability of the Osservatorio Naturalistico
della Laguna to evaluate impacts of proposed interventions in the Venetian
Lagoon by identifying effective and inexpensive sources for the gradual and
systematic accumulation of re-usable environmental data.
To
accomplish this mission, we have identified four primary objectives:
1. To
facilitate the collection and sharing of environmental data by dividing the
lagoon into morphologically homogeneous coded sections.
2. To
design programs that will engage visitors in citizen monitoring activities
which will generate informational returns.
3. To
demonstrate the reusability of the data.
4. To extract reusable data from
V.Inc.A reports (Relazione di Valutazione di Incidenza Ambientale).
