Strage Innovation Awards

"Winning in business today demands innovation. Innovators build a reputation of being able to solve the most challenging problems. That's why corporations spend billions each year trying to identify opportunities for innovation – unsolved problems or unmet needs, things that don't fit or don't work."

A WPI Innovation Competition

Innovation is the successful exploitation of new ideas in our society that may either be entirely new or the application of existing ideas to new uses.

In view of the increasing importance of innovation in our lives, an innovation competition for WPI undergraduate students has been established.

Objective

The objective of this competition is to encourage the development of student knowledge and practical experience in the translation of creative ideas into viable new projects or ventures, especially for those students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity now or in the future. Commercial, social, and philanthropic ventures will be considered by a panel of distinguished judges.
