To be taken seriously as a company leader, you need to become an expert in the market for your product. This means that you need to know the key players including influencers and competitors, the buying cycles and behaviors, regulatory realities, and values your prospects hold. To do this, you need to constantly monitor sources of industry and market information and find answers to questions that have yet to be answered. Both the cornerstone and key to a successful business plan; Market Research is a continuous process.
About the Speaker
Barbara Finer is a four-time entrepreneur who has lead the marketing and sales efforts for several technology-heavy companies during her 20+ year career. Currently, she is taking a 'break' to serve as an executive-in-residence, teaching Marketing and Entrepreneurship at Emerson College. She is on the Board of Advisors of SpiderSplat SEO and has a BS in Math/ Computer Science and MSA in Management of Innovation and Technology. Her favorite industries and applications are those in industrial/ manufacturing automation, medical systems, analytic software and anything DSP.
