Researchers and technology entrepreneurs can struggle for months or years to turn their breakthrough research or technology into a demonstrable product. Protecting intellectual property behind the technology is important if it goes to market as a product, company, or licensing opportunity. Basic information relating to patent procurement and enforcement, as well as freedom to operate, and other IP issues will be the focus of this workshop.
