Department of Physics Faculty Position
Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in theoretical or experimental Soft-Condensed Matter physics. This position will complement WPI’s research initiative in Biophysics and Regenerative Biosciences.
The successful candidate will be expected to establish a vigorous, externally-funded research program as well as taking part in the mentoring and teaching of graduate and undergraduate students in WPI’s distinctive curriculum. Preference will be given to applicants who can move rapidly across disciplines as encompassed by Soft-Condensed Matter.
Founded in 1865 as one of the nation’s oldest and most innovative technological universities, WPI is a nationally ranked university with an undergraduate student body of over 3,200 and 1,100 full-time and part-time graduate students. The Department of Physics offers BS, MS, and Ph.D degrees.
