SSPS Launches On-line Graduate Courses in System Dynamics

WPI is proud to offer a graduate certificate program in System Dynamics. Since its introduction almost forty years ago, system dynamics methods have been applied to a variety of pursuits, ranging from advanced research in universities and research organizations, to brainstorming in boardrooms, to classroom learning in elementary and secondary schools, to systems thinking for everyday use. Since the WPI program started in 2003, Ninety Nine students have enrolled. System Dynamics can be studied at the graduate level in several prestigious universities around the world; however at WPI a Certificate in System Dynamics is available through our Advanced Distance Learning Network.

SSPS Establishes Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Systems Modeling

The Departments of Mathematical Sciences and Social Science & Policy Studies have established an interdisciplinary master's degree program in systems modeling. This interdisciplinary degree is a thirty credit-hour program utilizing courses taught in the two departments, and other free electives taught in engineering, science and management departments.

SSPS Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program Draws Worldwide Interest

The Social Science and Policy Studies Department offers doctoral studies under the WPI interdisciplinary category. This program has drawn wide interest from graduate students all over the world. The number of students entering this program is now only limited by the faculty resources and physical space available to the department.
