Our focus at WPI is on Accessibility and Assistive Technology. The EPICS program was started in conjunction with the WPI Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC).

The founders of EPICS receive the Bernard M. Gordon Prize.
On February 23, 2005, the founders of the EPICS program at Purdue University were awarded one of the engineering profession's highest honors, the Bernard M.
