Information For Sponsors
This page contains information for organizations considering sponsoring projects for WPI's Silicon Valley Project Center for C-term 2006. The projects, called Major Qualifying Projects, will run for nine weeks, from early January to mid-March 2006. The project teams generally consist of three advanced undergraduate students, all from the same major, although interdisciplinary teams are possible. The students work full time at the sponsor's site for the nine weeks of the project program, working on a project designated by the sponsor, with the participation of a WPI faculty advisor. Additional information about the WPI Silicon Valley Project Center is available from the links below.
To give you an idea of what the students can accomplish during a project, we have assembled executive summaries for projects performed at the Silicon Valley Project Center in previous years. You can either download the individual summaries in Word format, or all of the summaries in a single Zip file. The full reports are available on request.
There are also links to additional information about the WPI Project Program.
Please feel free to contact either of the Project Center Co-Directors, David Finkel or John Orr, if you have any questions about reports or about the WPI project program.
