Matt Hall, Director of User Services/Assistant Library Director, has been named Acting Director while the search for Helen Shuster’s replacement is conducted. Matt was formerly the Director of Library Services at Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson, CT. He joined the Gordon Library staff in October 2006.

The Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners has awarded new contracts (as of July 1, 2007) for full text journal, newspaper, and reference databases to Gale, ProQuest CSA, and EBSCO. These resources are available free of charge to all libraries in the state. See individual database titles you can connect to through our databases by subject or A-Z pages. The Gale database Business & Company ASAP and Newsbank are no longer available.
