Circulation Policies for Distance Learning Students

Loans

WPI distance learning students may borrow up to 10 items at a time. Items may be renewed up to 3 times if a hold has not been placed on it by another patron. A hold is a request by a patron that the item be reserved for them when it is returned. Items are subject to immediate recall if needed by a WPI faculty member for course reserve purposes only. If the item is not returned within 6 days of the recall notice, a fine will be charged.

Books, Best Sellers and Audio Books may be borrowed for 4 weeks. They may be renewed up to 3 times for an additional 4 weeks each time. We do not ship other materials types.
