University Archives & Special Collections
The WPI Archives and Special Collections was established in the 1970s to serve as a central repository for historical records and artifacts that document the history of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, from its founding in 1865 to the present. The department also maintains WPI's rare book and manuscript collections and hosts an annual series of exhibitions featuring artists from Worcester and the New England region.
