Using Adobe Acrobat Reader®

Most full text electronic journal articles are stored in the Portable Document Format (PDF) and have the file extension pdf. These files may be viewed and printed with the Adobe Acrobat Reader®, a program that works as a web browser plug-in or helper application. If Adobe Acrobat Reader® is not present on your computer, then you will need to install it. Acrobat Reader® runs on a wide range of computer operating systems, and it is freely available from the Adobe Web Site.

Questions?

Please note that Acrobat Reader® is freeware, and that the CCC Helpdesk can offer support only on its installation and use. Critical software failures should be brought directly to the attention of Adobe technical support. If you have questions about installation and use of Acrobat Reader®, or about CCC's support policy, please email helpdesk@wpi.edu.
