• SciFinder Scholar - Chemical Abstracts: Search the full Chemical Abstracts database back to 1907. Use in library, chemistry PC lab, or install on your own computer. Short How To Guides.
• PubMed: Search database of citations and abstracts, in all fields of medicine and biomedicine, including biochemistry. Coverage is from mid-1960's to the present. Note wpilib at end of URL, this connects you with FullTextFinder (WPI's resources).
  • Short Tutorial
  • Search MESH - Medical Subject Headings to assure you are using the language of the field. For instance, dTMP kinase is used, not thymidylate kinase in this database
  • When viewing citations, choose Format MEDLINE to view MESH Headings
  • Use Journal Browser to figure out abbreviated medical titles.
