Find Books

Search the Library Catalog for items @ WPI or WorldCat to search beyond our library.

Research Challenge

Search the Library Catalog to find 1 ebook and 1 print book on a topic you are interested in writing about for this course.

Browse WorldCat to find another book, that is not available at WPI. What library is it available at? Try Advanced Search to limit to ARC Academic Research Collaborative for library materials at Worcester area college libraries. Follow up on subjects you find in catalog or WorldCat records.

Find Articles

The Library has many specialized databases. All databases listed are WPI subscriptions. Off Campus? Connect using WPI Proxy. To find them look under Databases & Electronic Resources by Subject:

Also check out Google Scholar a web search of scholarly sources. Many Google Scholar results lead you to subscribed resources. Within database searches, look for FullTextFinder image or "FullTextFinder" link for retrieval options.

Research Challenge

Search within two of the above for articles on your topic. Email at least one citation, or full text, to yourself. If you have trouble coming up with articles, review your keywords used and consider new search terms.

WPI's Journal, Magazine, Newspaper Search

Research Tip

To find sources such as New York Times, Nature, the Lancet and other magazines print or online that the library subscribes to, search by source title within our Journals, Magazines, & Newspapers list.
