Gale PowerSearch is one of many databases
that allows direct export to a personal RefWorks database.

Once you've completed that perfect (and successful) search, most databases will allow you to save or email yourself the results. You can do this with all of them or just those you've marked as worth keeping.

Most databases let you choose the display of the record (citation, citation with abstract, detailed record, or sometimes even the full text) and what format you want it in (ASCII, for example).

You can also save the records in formats that will let you load them into a bibliographic management tool like RefWorks, which WPI subscribes to. RefWorks is a web bibliographic database & citation management tool. Log in, create an account, then you can maintain a database of your references then output your references or work cited list into many formats (APA, MLA, IEEE, etc.)
