Evaluating Sources: Wrap-up
You now know to consider authority, perspective, bias, accuracy, currency, comparability, and context when deciding what items to use in your research.
You should now be able to:
- determine whether a given resource is credible enough to use
- choose between a variety of sources you may have identified
- understand the value of sources the library provides versus those freely available on the web
- evaluate various factors that ensure accuracy and appropriateness
