Assessing the University
Assessing student learning outcomes is a powerful measurement of
institutional effectiveness in teaching and learning. At WPI,
learning outcomes assessment is connected to:
- University-wide Mission and Goals
- Statement of Values for Undergraduate Education
- Undergraduate Learning Outcomes
- WPI Strategic Plan
WPI also uses the assessment of learning outcomes as part of the continuous process of measuring institutional effectiveness as part of external accreditation reviews.
