Binding The Project Report

The final project report must be submitted with a CDR for each student engaged in that project. For exceptions to this requirement, consult with the Registrar’s staff.

Each hard-copy report must be fastened in a clear- or solid-cover binder. These binders are available for sale in the WPI Bookstore. Students wishing to have their report spiral-bound may pay for that service in the WPI Print Shop (basement of Boynton Hall).

If a CD-ROM or Floppy-disk is submitted in place of a hard copy of the report, the following must be included:

  1. Title page (hard-copy).
  2. Abstract description of the project (hard-copy) that matches the CDR.
  3. The title page and abstract must be fastened in a clear- or solid-cover binder.
  4. CD or floppy disk of the report must be in the MS-Word format. The CD or disk needs to be enclosed in an adhesive-backed pocket and attached to the back inside cover of the binder. The pocket and binder can be purchased at the WPI Bookstore.

The Registrar’s staff has been instructed to reject the submission of any project report and CDR which does not meet the guidelines explained above.

If you have any questions, call Marge Roncone or Chuck Kornik at ext. 5457.
