CREDIA is committed to the education of undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students in the fields that pertain to this research through courses and advanced seminars, and provides students with first-hand research experience through Ph.D. dissertations, M.S. theses, undergraduate projects, and internships at member organizations as well as at WPI.
Employees of industrial members also come to WPI to pursue graduate studies (M.S. and Ph.D.) in areas related to the Center's research. Seminars and short courses on topics pertaining the CREDIA's research are offered at WPI and are available for offering at member sites. Two to four seminars and short courses are scheduled each year. Topics include but are not limited to data mining, data visualization, data integration, machine learning, and statistical data analysis. Courses are taught using WPI's unique approach to education, which integrates theory and practice. Participants receive instruction on cutting-edge research as well as hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools. Participants are welcome to bring their own datasets for analysis.
