Summer housing information below.
Visiting students are welcome to participate in Summer@WPI by taking undergraduate credit courses. No special admission is required. You can view our course offerings in our online catalog available at www.wpi.edu/summer/courses09. Once you find your course, you can register in person, by mail, or by fax. Please note that International students should follow the registration instructions in the International Section of this page.
WPI uses a unit system. To easily translate this, 1/3 unit would be the equivalent of 3 credits at other Universities.

International students who wish to attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute's Summer Sessions as visiting students may enter the United States on a J-1 or an F-1 visa and must register full-time, which is defined as three or four courses. In order to obtain the appropriate visa document and required information, please go the International House's web site at www.wpi.edu/Admin/ISS/.
In addition to the Registration Request for Visiting Students, international students must submit the following materials to the International House no later than April 1, 2008:
1. A completed I-20/DS 2019 Request Form, available at

WPI's International Office processes the request and upon approval, generates a visa eligibility document. This document is mailed to the address indicated on your I-20/DS 2019 Request Form. If you have questions regarding visa issues, please e-mail the International Office at ih@wpi.edu.
