Welcome - finally - to your very own Class Website! The world renowned, but semi computer illiterate Class of 1957 has its own website, and this is it!

Well over a year ago the Chair of the Class Board of Directors(BOD) designated someone to get a website started. The delays and excuses were many and it took more than a year to get it up and running. So here it is. A start anyways, which will grow significantly as we gather and add material which hopefully will be of interest to you.

We look for your inputs as well. See our policy statement for making any changes to our website. We hope you will check your website often, enjoy it, critique it, tell your friends about it,but most of all contribute to it. We will be actively seeking material to make our website the best! We can scan or digitally photograph old reminders of those great days of yesteryear.

Watch for future articles about our upcoming 50th! A fund raiser, of course. The famous Cape Cod league(that's WPI '57 's golf league) bigger and stronger than ever, events of interest to the class, a section with important contacts within the WPI family. As with our Class Newsletters, which will soon be attached as a part of the website, the more you contribute and comment the more enjoyable it will be for all of us.

As for that "someone" mentioned above who preferred that his name not be revealed, his latest words of wisdom is that starting a Class website is really a piece of cake once you have met the "Webmaster" (webmaster@WPI.edu). And webmaster really should be plural, as there are 3 very capable people that I met in the webmaster office(perhaps there are more!), all of whom are more than eager do a great job making us look far more capable than we really are!

An Article From Bob Propper

Bob Propper sent in the attached article about his recent trip to Brazil. Excellent graphics! I enjoyed the article and thought it should be in our website.

Ed Gallini

We leaned after the passing of our classmate, Ed Gallini that he was an amateur artist and writer of some talent. This is an example of his artwork.
