John Rogozenski ( Wife - Judi )
Family

Judi and I were married in 1972 after a short 6-month courtship, and just celebrated our 33rd anniversary in April 2005. Judi and I have lived in Boston, Coventry, Conn, and for the last 25 years on the South Shore of Boston. We have three great children: Alex, married with a daughter, Lauren, age 16 months; Alison who was married in August 2005; and daughter, Dana who just graduated college and is spending a year or so in Italy.
Judi and I are just getting used to being grandparents, Alex and his family just moved back to Boston after spending 5 years in Boulder, CO. Alison and husband Brian live in Redlands CA in the Los Angeles area.
Career summary

After graduation, I went to grad school then quickly into the US Army (ROTC). After my 2 year stint, I went back to grad school and landed a job with the Army Natick Labs as a Research Analyst. After five years of government work, I left for a position in the private sector with Dunkin Donuts, a coffee fast food chain headquartered in Boston. I stayed with DD in a variety of management positions and left in 2002 after spending 25 years there. For a few years I ran a small consulting company providing IT services, real estate counsel and development services to a variety of franchise concepts.
My career was really in the franchising industry and I got to meet some great people, some very sharp entrepreneurs, and helped put hundreds of people in business for themselves. I learned about how to run a small business, franchise sales, business law, commercial real estate and strategic planning at all levels of management. Every year was a new adventure and I have many great memories of the people I worked with.
After taking "a package" from Dunkin Donuts, I began to look for something that would be fun and allow me to work with people while staying in the franchising industry. I am now an independent franchise business consultant with FranChoice, providing advise and opportunities to anyone interested in business ownership. Working out of my home office I have the best of all worlds; complete flexibility, a meaningful role helping others and being associated with the best group of professionals in the industry.
What we are up to now

In my spare time I have taken up golf with a passion and finally have a respectable game. I picked up Natural Golf and found it was just right for me to get to play the game well and have fun at it. Several years ago, Judi and I purchased a condo in Naples FL, right on the 18th Fairway of our golf course. We try to get away several times a year to “chill out“ in Naples, enjoying the beach, golf and the great weather.
Judi is still working part time, but is counting the months to be at home full time. She is the training coordinator for a Financial Services Consulting company. I enjoy my work as franchise consultant and hope to continue for many years in the future. In June of 2003 Judi and I moved into a new community in Plymouth MA, The Pinehills. We have made many great new friends and enjoy the amenities offered. We’re on the go many weekday nights and weekends with cards, bridge, golf, dinners and other social events. It’s like we have a new life in our senior years and we’re making up for lost time.

We enjoy traveling both in the US and Europe and look forward to taking our first cruise in October 2005 with friends and neighbors from Pinehills.
We hope to see you all at the 40th Reunion in June of 2007. If you haven’t been before, you should mark the calendar now. It is a really good time to get together with old friends and renew relationships that may have been dormant for years.
