Welcome to the Campaign Update page. Our class is continuing to make progress to a very successful 25th Anniversary Reunion. We look forward to having everyone from the Class of 79 on board in this effort to share in our great success. The class campaign steering committee wants all of us to be a part of a class gift to WPI which we can look to with a great source of pride when our class marches into Harrington Auditorium on Saturday June 12th for the Reunion Luncheon and Alumni Awards program.

The class is already well on its way to a great reunion week-end. We are delighted to tell you that the Class of 1979 25th Anniversary Reunion Gift campaign now stands at a fantastic $108,752.58 in total commitments and just over 31% in total participation!

To those classmates who have generously participated in our campaign, you are the reason for our success, and we thank you all for your thoughtful consideration. If you have not participated in our campaign so far, you can help us by sending in a contribution. Gifts of any size count for participation, so a gift in any amount (even a symbolic one of $19.79!) would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

As delighted as we are with those numbers, however, we would like to do even better if we can. Our goal remains at 50% participation. You will recall that the class of 78 finished their 25th campaign last year with 42%. There is no way we will take second place, right? We need fewer than 100 additional classmates to jump on board to make our goal! We know many of you are out there waiting to make you decision. Why wait? You can make a secured on-line gift right now. For every 5 additional classmates who jump on board, we can raise our participation by 1 additional point.
