WPI Class of 1996 Board of Directors
Minutes of September 25, 1999

1. Members present: Amy Marr, Shannon Foskett, Cyndi Fusco, Jason
   Heminger, Cindy Michell, Brian Parker, Rich Santora, John Aliberti 

2. Cindy Michell asked for volunteers to phone members of our class to
   solicit money for the class gift.  Several board members
   volunteered, and Cindy agreed to find out exactly what happens to
   the money (e.g., do we hand over the cash, or do we get to pick
   something for WPI to buy with it?)

3. John Aliberti asked if he could join the class board.  Amy Marr also
   mentioned that Rachel Butland would like to join.  After a brief
   discussion, John and Rachel were named to the board.

4. Amy Marr asked the board what they thought of last year's holiday
   cards.  Most members agreed that they were a good idea, and some
   stated that they had the calendar portion hanging in their
   offices.  Amy reported that the class has well over $2,000 left in
   its account, and asked if the board would like to do cards again.
   Discussion ensued about the importance of keeping in the minds of
   our classmates, as our Reunion approaches and we are starting to
   raise money.  After looking through some catalogs, the members agreed on a
   design.  Amy will follow through with the Alumni Office and have
   the cards sent.

5. Amy asked the board to help her update the website.  A paper was
   passed around for members to write down any information they
   heard.  Sordid gossip was discussed, and Amy agreed to update the
   pages with the information that could be confirmed.  She asked
   board members, especially the new ones, to look at the website soon
   and email her information to be added.
