Homecoming 2006
October 6-7, 2006
WPI Homecoming 2006 was held on October 6-7. The festivities included the student Pep Rally, Athletic Hall of Fame Dinner, and zero year reunion for the Class of 2006 on Friday. A fun filled day for all was held on Saturday. Members of the Class Boards of Directors gathered in the morning with home football, rugby, and field hockey games in the afternoon. Children will enjoyed the family carnival and free movie CARS. The Classes of 1991, 1996, and 2001 celebrated reunions, and the traditional rope pull was won by the Freshmen in the afternoon.
Almost 60 runners competed in the Frank Sanella Road Race in Institute Park the morning of Homecoming. A mix of students, faculty, staff, and alumni joined for this 5K race. Winning non-student runners were Justin Lutz '02 (15:38) and Liz Rosinha '05 (20:04). Congratulations to all.
