Homecoming 2007 was a fantastic weekend! We enjoyed being with alumni, family and friends at various events, in perfect fall weather. Here are some highlights from the weekend:
The Friday festivities included a student pep rally, Athletic Hall of Fame dinner, and zero-year reunion for the Class of 2007 at the brand new The Goat's Head restaurant. Saturday was a fun-filled day for all. The morning included events such as: Imagine & Achieve: a Town Hall Meeting for all of WPI's alumni and friends featuring President Dennis D. Berkey; Class Boards of Directors Meeting; Academic & Admissions Open Houses; field hockey game and much more! The afternoon brought a home football game against Hobart, alumni gatherings for football, wrestling, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Gamma Delta, Phi Sigma Sigma and an Annual Networking Social. Children of alumni enjoyed the family carnival with games, a “Rat Race” obstacle course, photos with Gompei, a dunk tank and free movie “Ratatouille”. The Classes of 2002, 1997, 1992 and 1987 enjoyed reminiscing with classmates during their class reunions.

- At the annual Freshman/Sophomore Rivalry of the Rope Pull the FRESHMAN were victorious!
- The Student Alumni Society won the first annual Homecoming banner contest cosponsored by the Office of Alumni Relations, Residential Services and Student Activities.
