Recruiting at WPI
The CDC has several different easy options for recruiting WPI students and alumni. For companies recruiting on-campus, please review the following information:
- CareerPlanner at WPI
- This is a comprehensive job listing and on-campus recruiting database for employers. Whether your needs are one or ten new hires, the Career Development Center at WPI has a recruiting option that will work for you. Register as a new user or log in with an existing password and id, you can access your job listings and on-campus recruiting information instantly. New registrants will be receiving an id and password within three business days of completing the online registration form.

Utilize the CDC's online database to post a position for WPI students and alumni. All new employers must set up an account to access these services. Three business days after receiving your request, an id and password will be emailed. All positions submitted to the database will be reviewed by the CDC for approval before being listed in the system. Job listings are classified as the following:
- Professional: full-time (entry level and experienced) part-time, summer, co-op (Jan-Aug, May-Dec)
- General: full-time, part-time, summer
- unpaid internship (non-credit, professional)
- volunteer
- On Campus Recruiting
- CDC will coordinate on-campus interviewing for employers by advertising company visits, coordinating information sessions, scheduling interviews and providing interviewing space. To set up an On Campus Recruiting session please call the Career Development Center.
- Cooperative Education Program Information
- These are the answers to commonly asked questions about the Cooperative Education Program at WPI and can be very helpful in the serch for quality students from WPI. It also provides information regarding our WEB RESUME BOOK for CO-OP.
- Summer Internship Program
- Summer job postings an on-campus interviews (if appropriate) can be arranged through the Career Development Center.
- Alumni Resume Referral
- CDC maintains a file of resumes submitted by alumni who are interested in new career opportunities. Copies of resumes can be forwarded to employers following a discussion of specific job requirements.
