Major Selection Program
This seminar held during B term focuses on major/career exploration. By completing four steps via individual, small group sessions and hands on activities, you will:
- Identify your interests, skills and values
- Explore potential careers that relate to your major
- Examine majors associated with those career paths
- Develop a Career Plan
The MSP program will help you learn more about majors and careers. MSP is not just for first-year students. It can help any WPI student to explore, identify and select a major and/or career field.
MSP activities include, but are not limited to:
- Company tours
- Career testing/assessment
- Majors Fair
- Major Assistants (upper class students who have volunteered to meet with you)
- Peer Advisors
The MSP will be held during B Term 2007 on Wednesdays from 3 p.m. - 4:20 p.m. To register through the Web Information System, use CRN# 10947 and Course FS 1000 B01.
