Returning Undergraduates

You must re-apply for need-based financial aid on an annual basis. Applications for the 2012-2013 academic are available by mid December 2011.

The WPI Office of Financial Aid will be moving to a paperless process for the 2012 - 2013 academic period. The 2012-2013 WPI Financial Aid Upper Class Application is now available in a PDF format. The form can be download here WPI 2012-2013 Financial Aid Upper Class Application [pdf].

Once the form has been filled out you will need to print it and both the student and a parent must sign the form. The completed and signed form needs to be mailed to:

                             WPI Financial Aid Processing Center
                             P.O. Box 850
                             Randolph, MA 02368

Please refer to the Financial Aid Deadlines tab on your left for additional deadlines and other required forms. It is your responsibility to contact the Federal Department of Education to file your 2012-2013 FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA.

The CSS PROFILE Application is no longer a requirement for most returning undergraduate students. However, filing this form is required if:

your parents have recently become separated or divorced since you filed the previous year's financial aid application
the role of your custodial and non-custodial parent has changed from the previous year
If you did not apply for need based financial aid last year
Or if you were recently re-admitted to WPI

The CSS Profile application is available online.

All completed financial aid applications will be reviewed and awards will be made available shortly after the July 4th holiday.

To see if all of your required documents are complete please check your financial aid information on the Web Information System. Under the Financial Aid section look under Check Status of Requirements. If something says it is still required please submit that information to the Office of Financial Aid as soon as possible.
