Returning Undergraduates
You must re-apply for need-based financial aid on an annual basis. The WPI Office of Financial Aid will be distributing WPI Upper Class Financial Aid Applications during the first week of December in the lobby of the WPI Campus Center. Please refer to the Financial Aid Deadlines tab on your left for further details. It is your responsibility to contact the Federal Department of Education to file your 2008-2009 FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA.
The CSS PROFILE Application is no longer a requirement for most returning undergraduate students. However, filing this form is required if:
- your parents have recently become separated or divorced since you filed the previous year's financial aid application
- the role of your custodial and non-custodial parent has changed from the previous year
- If you did not apply for need based financial aid last year
- Or if you were recently re-admitted to WPI
The CSS Profile application is available online.
All completed financial aid applications will be reviewed and award letters will be mailed shortly after the July 4th holiday.
To see if all of your required documents are complete please check your financial aid information on the Web Information System. Under the Financial Aid section look under Check Status of Requirements. If something says it is still required please submit that information to the Office of Financial Aid as soon as possible.
